This is the fourth brand of automatic litter boxes I have tried. I would give this automatic litter box more stars if I could! It sits side by side with a different brand and all three of my kitties use it in preference to the other. One of my babies has refused to use any automatic box in the past. She got accidentally shut up in my dryer and wouldn't even go near any other box. This one is wide open and has plenty of room to not feel closed in. I love, love this litter box!

Great concept but here are my issues with the product. It is nice you don't have to scoop but you still have the empty the waste basket often, but I bought this bc my roommate didn't want the smell that comes with having a cat box and honestly this was more smelly that the tradition cat box that has a hood cover and kitty door. The little trap door that the waste goes through would get stuck open bc little bits of cat little gets stuck in the cracks of the door, so the door was would be stuck open and the waste basket is exposed and very stinky. Eventually the door hinges broke while I was cleaning it so now it just sits there and I got a new traditional cat box with a hood cover and don't have a smell anymore. It's a bummer bc I'm still making the monthly payments for a broken robot litter box. If you don't mind the smell and just don't want to be scooping all the time then go ahead and buy this, you'll still be emptying the waste basket very often to get rid of the smell.
